Social Action Network - Fundraising, Volunteer and Donation Opportunities

Blessings in a Backpack:  Help feed the children of Frederick Schools through our ongoing donation program (monitary or food donations)  Want to help pack nutritious food for the children at Orchard Grove Elementary School?  Volunteers can help by signing up for a Friday slot January-June of 2015.

The Family Shelter Program Needs YOU!  Help is needed March 28th through April 11th.  Please consider helping!  ERUCC and UUCF have asked Kol Ami to join in an effort to help Frederick’s homeless through the Religious Coalition’s (RC) Family Emergency Shelter project. This is an emergency transition sheltering effort that began this past October. Local religious communities are taking turns hosting homeless families for two weeks at a time. This is our opportunity to join this Interfaith effort to provide homeless families with a desperately needed... helping hand. A new set of dates are open for sign-up now!  (Go to the Social Action Network page for more details on days/times and to sign up.)
